Domains with double extensions are called 2nd level domains like co.cc, cz.cc, co.uk etc. These second level domains are less popular and unsuitable for a web site from seo point of view so try to register top level domain for your website to place it on top position.
Second level domains with country code make your website local like .com.nz, .com.in and .com.pk. If you are targeting users of local area or single country/state you may choose 2nd level domain with country code extension otherwise this practice should be avoided to prevent your site from isolation.
