Long domains contain two or more keywords and it is some time difficult for both bots and human to read them separately. One or more dashes are allowed in a domain to separate keywords in a domain.

Use of Dash also give you a chance to reserve and register same domain with dash which is already registered without dashes e.g. dentalinsurance.com is already registered with two keywords "dental" and "insurance". Now you can register a domain dental-insurance.com with same keywords.

In this way you can include 3 or 4 keywords in your domain by separating them with dash.
